CDI Quartz 5080

The Esko CDI Quartz features a switch optics system that combines both Crystal optics and Quartz optics. For the Crystal optics, there is a choice between Optics 40v3+, Optics 80v3+ for the fastest throughput, and Optics 100v3+ for increased productivity, especially in corrugated plate imaging.

The new Quartz Optics can be seamlessly integrated into the CDI’s optical system to deliver an even higher quality of flexo imaging. This advanced system offers several enhancements, including high-resolution imaging at 4,000 ppi for sharper details and smoother gradients, as well as improved surface structure technology at 2,000 lpi to eliminate pinholes and enhance ink laydown.

The XPS Crystal is a mandatory UV LED component required to polymerize the improved surface structures (Q-Cells) and offers the CDI Quartz further automation options. The innovative XPS Crystal optimally combines UV main and back exposure.

Eliminate warm-up time with the XPS Crystal’s UV LEDs which, unlike UV frames that use lightbulbs with fluctuating output, always emit consistent radiation.
