Concentric vs Standard Screening

Printing on recycled substrates creates some challenges for the printer. The rougher surface to the paper and difference board fiber quality has a negative effect on ink transfer. Utilizing Concentric screening allows for a smooth transition from traditional virgin boards to recycled boards for high quality sustainable print results. The samples highlight better color saturation, higher LPI for improved print quality all with reduced ink consumption which yields ink savings.

Reflex Blue

Reflex Blue is a commonly use color for backgrounds and single color vignettes. Using Concentric with Recycled Boards allows for a smoother ink laydown. In this example we have smoother ink laydown with a higher LPI using Concentric Screening

Even ink laydown on recycled board liners is easy to achieve with Concentric.
